Chicago Bar Crawls

As you already know, Chicago is one of the best bar and/or pub towns in not only the United States but the entire world. There is no type of bar or pub in the world that you cannot find in the Chicago area or Chicago proper. You name it, Chicago has it: Irish Pubs, Hip Hop clubs, Heavy Metal bars, dive bars, posh lounges, and anything in between. There's almost no other place in the country that is better to have a bar or pub crawl than Chicago. You'll be certain that you experience an almost endless number of bars and pubs, and you'll have a blast doing it, that's for certain.

We have put together a DIY pub crawl list for Saint Patrick's Day. The pub crawl starts at Coogan's and then heading to Shinnick's Pub where you can visit one of The Top 100 Historic Bars Of Chicago. Once you're done at Shinnick's, you can head to Cork and Kerry's in Beverly for a drink or two. Oh, by the way, you do not have to visit every single pub on this list. We've compiled it so that it is long enough to enjoy for large groups but definitely not necessary to complete. From Cork and Kerry, you can head to Kitty O'Shea's, then Abbey Pub.

During this pub crawl, you can spend as little or as much time as you'd like at each venue. The beauty of pub or bar crawls is that you are in full control! You can if you'd like to spend extra time at one venue and less time at another. You can also do that if you'd like to completely skip a venue. It's your evening and your call!

From Abbey Pub, we suggest heading to Cullen's and then Irish Oak over on Clark St. Those two will definitely keep you busy. You'll be sure to have a rockin' time at those venues. From there, we finalize the crawl with River Shannon, Brehon Pub, and Butch McGuire's on W. Division. So there you have it. A full-on 10-pub pub crawl that takes you through all of the various areas of Chicago. It begins and ends with easy access to the expressway and ensures you'll have a good time.
